Where is Lyme Regis?
You'll find Lyme Regis in the centre of Lyme Bay on the Devon and Dorset border between Exmouth and Weymouth. Just to the East of Lyme Regis is Charmouth, just to the West is Seaton.
How to get to Lyme Regis
Lyme Regis is easily accessible by road, rail and air: car ferries and catamaran services give good links with the continent.

Rail:
Main services from Waterloo to Exeter stop at Axminster for Lyme Regis (X31 bus is timetabled to depart shortly after trains arrive, and is about a 15 or 20 minute journey)
Air:
Bristol Airport (72 miles), Exeter Airport (29 miles) and Bournemouth's Hurne Airport (56 miles).
Sea:
Condor Catamaran Services to Weymouth from the Channel Islands and St. Malo. Wight Link Ferries between the mainland and the Isle of Wight. Car ferries from French ports to Plymouth, Poole, Portsmouth and Weymouth.

Parking in Lyme Regis
Woodmead Car Park in Hill Road (250 spaces), next to the Police Station, is one of the largest local authority car parks (Number 5 on the town map) and is under 10 minutes' walk from the town centre and seafront.
Cabanya Car Park (70 spaces) at Monmouth Beach, next to the Bowling Green (Number 22 on the town map). Convenient for the Cobb and cocast path walk.
In addition there are large car parks operated by West Dorset District Council on both the eastern and western approaches to the town.
A seasonal Park & Ride service also operates.
